What is Address Bar?

Adress bar is the portion of your browser where you enter/paste any URL to search. Actually, the color of address bar remains same as usual even if you open your blog in that. But by the process, I am telling here, you will be able to change the address bar color by the color of your blog or any color you want.

What is Navigation Bar?

The navigation bar is the top portion of your mobile where the time clock, networks, and other notifications appears. Its color also remains same until the app's color doesn't change. When your blog will change the color of the address bar, the color of navigation bar will also change.

How To Change Navbar/Address Bar Color

Now for doing this, you have to paste a code into your template. Here is the full process.

Step 1- Go To Theme> Edit Html

Step 2- Now click in the code box and press ctrl+f and search <head>.

Step 3- Paste this code just below the <head> tag. Change the color code with the color code of your blog's color.

You have to choose the niche that suits your interest. If you have interest in technology, then you should start a technology blog because you have knowledge of technology and you will distribute that knowledge to your blog visitors. If you have interest in fashion, start fashion blogging. You can also start blogging on region-based niches like writing about your country, things popular in your country like JIO in India. It is a popular topic and also a trending topic.

After finding the niche, analyze it. Do a research on it. And answer these questions:

Are peoples interested in that niche?
Do you have knowledge of that niche?
Do you know something more than others in that niche?

You can do that research by using some tools but as the title of this post is "How To Start A Money Making Blog For Free" so I will suggest you free tools which are:

Go to Google Trends by clicking on this button.

After that enter your topic on which you want to blog and see if it is trending or not. For example, I am searching for "Get Free Internet", it shows a graph of interests of peoples in this topic.

You can see the graph of the popularity of that keyword. You can use Google Alerts for free.

b.Google Adwords Keyword Planner

In keyword planner, you will get data of searches of that keyword. If you want to get search data of keyword "free internet", you will find all related keywords to "free internet" and also you will get the number of searches of that keywords means how much time the keyword was searched on Google.

You can see the total number of searches for a period and competition for that keyword in above picture.

2. Create Social Pages/Profiles

Next task for you is to create social pages/profiles with the name of your blog. For example: If your blog's name will be XYZ, then create a page on Facebook with name XYZ, create a profile on Twitter, Instagram, Google plus with name XYZ. You have to create your blog's profile/page on most of the social media platforms but the important are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google Plus.

By social media pages/profiles, you can add a widget for like/follow that pages on your blog. And when you will post a new article on your blog then share it on that profiles you have made. Followers of those profiles will be notified of that and they will come to your blog. Your traffic will increase by social sharing.

Deciding a platform for the blog is very important. I will suggest you choose from Blogger or WordPress. Blogger is completely and lifetime free for blogging and as Blogger is a part of Google so there are more chances to rank your blog in Google search.

WordPress is advanced but it is paid. WordPress is also available in the free version but in the free version, you have only limited features. In other hands, Blogger is providing you full features for free. You can use your custom themes on your blog.
